We gathered at beautiful Korfos, Korinthia for our international seminar titled:
“Spiritual Healing: The Art of Spiritual Living”
It was our pleasure to have at this year’s summer seminar mental health scientists, teachers, students, lawyers and poets, some of whom were from England, Austria, Turkey and Ghana. We also had in attendance members and friends of Omilos from Athens and other regions of Greece.
The 15th Annual Conference of the British Psychological Society (BPS), Transpersonal Psychology Section took place in Scarborough, England on 16-18 September 2011, on the topic “Memories, Dreams and Reflections”.
The person in charge of Omilos Eksipiretiton (the Servers’ Society) along with members participated in the conference where they presented the philosophy and work of Omilos as well as chorodromena during two paper presentations.
A video with testimonials of people talking about how the Society helped them in their lives, a video with the groups and Omilos’ work that is taking place daily and also a video with chorodromena completed the presentations offering a vivid image to the participants.
Our ninth seminar was held in the fascinating Korfos of Korinthia on 24-28 August 2011 and its main subject was “Spirituality in everyday life: discovering a new dimension of healing and well-being”.
In these five days of the seminar many discussions, analysis and experiential groups took place in a warm atmosphere of serenity and repose. Everyday relaxations and introduction to Nidra Yoga, as uniquely and substantially is taught in Omilos, contributed to that.
In the beautiful theatre of Sophiko we hosted a night full of philosophy and poetry. Underneath the starry sky and with the view of the verdant mountain, the attendees participated in the Society’s Chorodromena which, according to their saying, brought great joy and uplift to everyone.
The fieldtrip to the ancient theatre and the museum of Epidavros as well as the farewell party that was held by the sea, completed the unique moments of the seminar.
Thus, through all these ways we truly lived in a harmonic and healing flow!
With the completion of the ninth seminar we celebrate three years of organizing seminars in various places around Greece always followed by great feedback and success. In fact, we had the pleasure to have psychologists from England participating in this seminar, who came in contact with Omilos through our presentations in international scientific conferences.

In 25-27 March 2011, members of Omilos Eksipiretiton (the Servers’ Society) participated in the 5th Annual Counselling Psychology Conference in Keele University, “Intimate Encounters: Reflections on Counselling Practice, Theory and Research”. The Head of the Omilos was present at the conference as well.
Members of the Society, psychologists and spiritual healers themselves, gave two paper presentations. In the first presentation, the basic points of the Society’s teaching, the groups that are taking place and the work of the Society were developed. A relevant video was shown that excited the audience – psychology professors, mental health scientists, doctorate and master’s degree students of psychology among others.
On November 10th 2010, the Ethnic Health Initiative (EHI) presented the Spiritual Healing Section of the Servers’ Society at a conference held in London with the presence of the Head and other members of the Society. The title of the presentation was “The Practice of Spiritual Healing in Greece: A Positive Example of Approaching Health and Well-being from a Spiritual Perspective”.
In the presentation Omilos’ philosophy was introduced; a philosophy that can be practiced in a simple way in everybody’s life, leading both to the healing of certain physical or/and psychological illnesses and of every weak aspect that may afflict us. It was also highlighted that Spiritual Healing is not just a technique, but it is a life stance based on acknowledging that every person can actually be well.
